Uncertainty

Egypt’s future is uncertain–that is the newsflash of the moment. Dire warnings about Islamic Fundamentalism, the Muslim Brotherhood, the possibility of a “new” Iran are nestled side-by-side with articles celebrating Mubarak’s forced resignation. The theme is “Congrats but don’t get too full of yourself Egypt–now the real work begins!”

As if the Egyptian people didn’t already know that.

Every one and every thing faces an uncertain future. No one knows what tomorrow (or the next hour) will bring–for any of us.
